SnTT - Turning off the agent auto run feature

You should have known I wouldn't be able to shut up that easily. :-P

I'm working on some resource reservations problems and have been modifying scheduled agents and they run as soon as they are saved. This is standard Domino behavior, but starting in Domino 7.0 you can turn this off:

Amgr_SkipPriorDailyScheduledRuns = 1

    Nice find. The problem is that the agents won't run on restart if the power goes out.

    What I do instead is set the "Start Agent Running On This Date" field for tomorrow. Which works for agents that run overnight but might be a bad idea for your situation. I guess we have to pick our poison.
